In the glass, light reveals a strikingly brilliant pale yellow wine. On the nose, aromatics most typical to Pinot Gris fruit such as peach and melon co-exist with more dominant aromatics namely citrus of grapefruit and lime and hints of citrus peel. This fruit-forward wine boasts layered background aromatics of green apple and juicy pear. Citrus and fruit notes eventually yield and revealed are delicate floral hints that provide insight into the Napa Valley river-front terrior. This wine enters light and bright onto the palate with a lean and clean body that reveals a perfect crispness towards the finish. Pairs well with double and triple-créme cheeses, foie gras, delicately smoked fish and butter-based fresh garden pasta dishes.
